 Evangelist
Henry L. Shields was born June 12, 1959 in Memphis, Tennessee
to the late Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Shields. He accepted the Lord
and was saved at an early age. He experienced the wonders
of God's supernatural power being born again and received
the overwhelms of God's Spirit. He felt the tremendous need
to foster the moral, spiritual and intellectual needs wherever
souls thirst for God's giving grace. Evangelist Shields experienced
a deep sense of responsibility and the real necessity of a
life that pleases God. Having a renewed mind, he committed
himself to God and accepted his calling.
Prophet
Henry L. Shields is a member of the Paradise Church of God in
Christ in Atlanta, Georgia where the pastor is Bishop Paul L.
Fortson and the first lady is Missionary Carolyn Fortson. He
is a part of the Central Georgia Jurisdiction where Bishop Chandler
D. Owens serves as the Jurisdictional Prelate for more than
21 years. Evangelist Henry L. Shields, with his highly visible
personality, has preached and blessed many all over the United
States. God has appointed him to preach, teach, heal and set
the souls of men and women free through his ministry. He is
an example of what God can do through a dedicated vessel set
aside for the master's use.
He is the founder and leader of the Changing Your Life Ministries
and author of three books and several audio recordings. He has
ministered to such great men of God such as Bishop Charles E.
